SUNDAY DOUBLE FEATURE
Welcome everyone to the Sunday double feature for Sunday August 4th 2013. Today is all about rebuildables. I have my VapeLyfe shirt on and i’m ready to build! we discus the pros and cons of the Nimbus V3 rebuildable atomizer and the Cyclone from Vicious Ant.
The upie-closie-rebuildy segments will be at the end of both of these videos, so feel free to watch me rebuild these.
THE NIMBUS REBUILDABLE ATOMIZER
Just because I like to mix things up every once and a while. The uppie - Closie - Rebuildy segment is at the end of the video for those interested in watching me rebuild it. Now then…. The Nimbus V3 is quite the nice rebuildable atomizer IMO. You can set up dual coils, single coils, triple coils and probably quad coils if you have the skills and patience, which I do not. Like I said in the video, The Nimbus comes stock with two 1.0mm airflow holes in the top cap. This RBA ( rebuildable atomizer ) would GREATY benefit from bigger airflow holes. Most people including myself don’t have access to a drill press so Vapedoctor.com lets you choose what size you want your airflow holes to be. I would suggest going a bit bigger than stock. Some 1.5mm or 2.0mm airflow holes would probably be perfect on this one.
The Nimbus has a nice big deck for coil building. It uses Philips heads screws for securing the wire like the Igo-l which is nice, and it has a big ol juice cup or “reservoir” to hold the extra juice that were all bound to drip in there.
It’s a great RBA in my opinion. Pricey ( vape budget hands ) but great. Easy to work with and easy to use.

Thanks so much for watching everone!! and remember, safety first. Please don’t build a coil that your battery can’t handle.
THE CYCLONE REBUILDABLE ATOMIZER, BY VICIOUS ANT
Just because I like to mix things up every once and a while. The uppie - Closie - Rebuildy segment is at the end of the video for those interested in watching me rebuild it. Now then…. I know this isn’t a true “micro coil” or “Contact coil” that I build on here, but the ohms ended up in the 1.3ohms range, which makes me happy.
The Cyclone is a bit more simple than other RBAs. Its designed for a single coil setup. Although if you have a means to a drill press ( which most don’t, including myself ) the Cyclone could also be setup with dual coils as well, but the fit is going to be a touch tight.
The Cyclone also comes in a bottom feeding version, which this one is not, so I can not speak to how well the bottom feeding function works. I could absolutely see rocking this on a REO with an 18650.
I like the styling of the Cyclone, I like the airflow ( 1.2mm stock I believe ) I like the size of the Cyclone. It has a more snug top cap than some other RBAs ive used in the past which is really nice.
I still have no idea what size allen key it comes with, but it’s tiny… like tiny tiny… to be careful and don’t lose it!
A few vendors ive found carrying the cyclone including
Thanks so much for watching everyone! and remember SAFETY FIRST! don’t build a coil that your battery can not handle
